It looks like Sony wasn’t kidding around about fast tracking their Spider-Man “reboot”
The Amazing Spider-Man as a franchise reboot & they have nabbed two blockbuster writers to do it. It seems that Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman, the team behind
Fringe,
Star Trek, &
Mission Impossible: III, have been tapped to write the sequel. There is no doubt that this team has been known to produce gold, especially when JJ Abrams is at the helm, but has also had some recent stumbles with the ill-received, critically & monetary,
Cowboys & Aliens. This still, no doubt, holds a lot of promise for the rebooted franchise now staring Andrew Garfield as the resident wall-crawling web-slinger.
