While You Were Sleeping

Pop news to go with your well rounded breakfast.

As seen above, Aaron Wood has created some great propo posters for our current social media overlords. Make sure to check out his other two as well. (Laughing Squid)

Up All Night, one of the only look forward to comedy shows for the upcoming fall season, has already begun to get some NBC revamps now with more Maya Rudolph, thanks to, ahem, Bridesmaids. The original pilot is being reworked to make Maya's character have more presence with show headliners Christina Applegate & Will Arnett. (AV Club)

AMC has come up with another struggle for the year. Fresh off the heals of Frank Darabonts departure from The Walking Dead it looks like AMC is starting a tiff with Sony over the next, and supposedly final, season of Breaking Bad. Looks like AMC wants to cut down the season to 6-8 episodes instead of the usual 13. Sony quickly started sending out feelers for whoever would want to take on the final season. Thank goodness I stopped after season 2 got overly ridiculous. (LA Times)

Looks like BET has given the axe to Mo'Nique's talk show. (I honestly feel weird having two apostrophes in here name, damn grammar.) After a steady decline in viewership since its premier in 2009 the Precious actress will now most likely defer all questions to her husband again unless it has to do with her 'oh-so-amazing' acting abilities. Thanks to this past weekends box office numbers, Attack The Block is up for further screen expansion & this time you get to vote where it goes. Also since I didn't promote it for its opening weekend, if you live in Chicago, or any other available city, please go and see this amazing film. I promise you will not be dissatisfied. Head on over to the films Facebook Page to vote on which city it goes to next.

Finally make sure to hit the jump for a great supercut celebrating, already, 5 years of Rifftrax.
